in YOUR PRETTY FACE IS GOING STRAIGHT TO HELL #16 i wrote about stuff i wanted to do before i turn thirty. the third thing on the list after starting a band and actually doing it (kinda not done but hey i’m working on it) and organizing a zine thing in medway (actually done! go me.) was to get a goddamn tattoo.

i feel really silly asking but.. if you wanted to get me a present or w/e and can’t think of anything or hadn’t even thought about it but now i mentioned , you could donate a wee bit to my tattoo fund! every little helps, even a quid or two helps.

what will i get though you ask? i was going to get the kitty tattoo mentioned in the zine first, but the other day i found the perfect tattoo artist to do it, and they live in finland. they recently did this amazing cattoo on my friend back home and their style is just plain gorgeous. but yeah. so i think the cattoo will have to wait until i go home next time, and it doesn’t seem like i’m going home any time soon at the moment. so i think it’s going to be the THIS POETRY IS MEANT TO DO HARM tattoo that’s going to be first. if i managed to get enough money together for a big-ish one like that. otherwise it might be a smaller something to start with. but i think i’d like to start with a nice proper big upper arm one.

here’s a little sketch i did last summer of what i wanted.. it’s only a rough one of the main feature but i’d get the artist to design it proper and maybe add awesome details, but i definitely want a heart with a bleeding pen through it and the banner! anyone got any suggestion on tattoo artists in the south east. london is probably most practical, though even better if you know about a good traditional style tattooist in medway. (but what i’ve seen googling local tattooists, i haven’t found anyone i like the look of.)

i was going to write about other things i want for my birthday, but i can’t think of many things i want in particular. but here goes me trying:

ICE CREAM MACHINE!

i love ice cream. it would save me buying ben & jerry’s whenever it is on sale. aaand i recently found a recipe for liquorice ice cream. i wanna try that.

PASTA MACHINE

i’ve kind of been wanting one for ages. dreaming of making my own ravioli etc. though i reckon ice cream machine more practical (hint hint, ha)

i always want more cute stationery. especially hello kitty letter sets and stickers and stuff.

more BUFFY THE VAMPIRE SLAYER SEASON EIGHT comix. i’ve got volume 1 (the long way home) and it’s pretty much the same story as with the parasol protectorate books.

but really, what i really want is that tattoo..
